helping high-functioning adults process trauma and find lasting relief
You’re used to being the one who holds it together.
You show up. You get things done. People rely on you.
But internally, it’s a different story.
Your mind doesn’t shut off.
You replay conversations after they happen.
You feel responsible for how others feel and it’s hard to turn that off.
You push through your days, even when you’re overwhelmed.
You’ve done the reflecting, the journaling, maybe even therapy…
and still find yourself in the same patterns.
Part of you knows something deeper is driving this.
You just don’t know how to get to it or how to actually change it.
Not because you haven’t tried hard enough, but because anxiety and trauma don’t respond to logic alone.
They live in your body, your patterns, and the parts of you that formed long before you had any words for it.
Sound familiar?
Your mind won't stop replaying conversations, anticipating problems, preparing for the worst.
You're exhausted from holding it together for everyone else.
You understand where your patterns come from. You just can't seem to stop them.
You push through, perform, and show up. All while quietly feeling overwhelmed inside.
You've wondered: "What if this is just how I am?"
It’s not. and you don’t have to keep white-knuckling your way through it.
This is where anxiety therapy gets real - not just reflective.
Most people who come to Sage Talk Therapy aren’t new to self-awareness. They’re new to actually feeling different.
That’s the difference between insight and change.
Sage Talk Therapy combines evidence-based anxiety and trauma therapy, including EMDR, with nervous-system and body-based approaches.
We are not just talking about what’s wrong. We are shifting what is keeping you stuck.
I help high-functioning adults work through anxiety and trauma so they can feel more grounded, clear, and like themselves again.
The Root Cause of Repeated Patterns
-

GET CLEAR ON WHAT’S REALLY DRIVING IT
Anxiety, overthinking, people=pleasing, emotional reactivity—these are symptoms not the source.
We slow down and identify what’s actually underneath, so you stop fighting the wrong thing.
-

Process what your nervous system hasn’t been able to resolve
Using EMDR and trauma-informed approaches, we work with the experiences your mind and body have been carrying since long before you noticed the pattern.
Instead of just talking about it, we help you actually move through it.
-

BEGIN TO FEEL AND RESPOND DIFFERENTLY
Over time, you’ll notice less overthinking, less emotional intensity, and a greater sense of steadiness. You’ll be able to move through situations with more clarity, more choice, and less of that automatic “pull” back into old patterns.
Ready to feel different?
Stop overthinking and finally feel like yourself again.

About Me
Hi, I’m Dadiana Lopez—a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, first-generation Latina, and someone who gets it.
I specialize in anxiety and trauma therapy for high-functioning adults — the people who appear fine on the outside but are quietly exhausted, overstretched, and stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break.
Many of my clients struggle with overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or the lasting impact of earlier experiences.
My approach is active, collaborative, and focused on helping you create real, lasting change—not just insight. I integrate evidence-based therapies like EMDR with body-based and nervous system work so we’re not just talking about what’s wrong, but actually shifting what’s keeping you stuck.
WAYS I CAN SUPPORT YOU
You don’t have to keep navigating this on your own. Here are a few ways we can work together.
Anxiety & Overthinking
When your mind doesn’t shut off and everything feels like too much, we work to understand what’s driving the anxiety—and help you feel more grounded and in control.
Burnout & People-Pleasing
If you’re constantly holding it together for everyone else, we’ll work on shifting those patterns so you can feel more balanced, clear, and supported.
Trauma & EMDR Therapy
If past experiences still show up in how you think, feel, or respond, EMDR helps your mind and body fully process what’s been stuck—so it stops affecting you in the same way.
EMDR Intensives
For deeper, focused work, intensives offer extended sessions to help you process and create meaningful change more efficiently.
NOT SURE WHERE TO STARt? WE CAN FIGURE THAT OUT TOGETHER.
